Tools of my trade:
Apple. Back when PC files weren’t readable on Macs, my two biggest clients insisted I switch.
Babel Fish Translation. Free.
Britannica Online. Subscription.
Canon PowerShot G5. For those catalog-writing product review/pick-up meetings.
The Chicago Manual of Style Search the Manual tool. Better than nothing, but only barelyyou still have to find the results of your search in the print edition. If they put the print edition online, I’d pay to use it.
Franklin Covey. I still record my days on the original two-page-per-day paper calendar.
Merriam-Webster Unabridged. Subscription.
iPassepartout. Despite its strange name, this desktop search tool (“pass-par-two”) is only about a zillion times faster than the Macintosh Find utility.
Visual Thesaurus. Subscription.
